In the sea of beautiful universal women who will set foot in the Bahamas, what should make you stand out?
It will definitely be my personality. I am a very ambitious and happy person. I enjoy life and what it has to offer and hopefully it will capture everyone’s hearts.
If you could trade places with any other famous person for a week, real or fictional, with whom would it be & why?
I would like to trade places with Hiro Nakamura, a character on the Heroes episodes. He possesses the ability of space-time manipulation so he can teleport or travel through time and to any place he wants. I’ve always enjoyed reading the world history and thought about how it was for the people to be up at that time. If I could be Hero for a one week I could travel to any place at any time in the world history and experience all the things I’ve read about.
What is your worst quality?
My worst quality is that I always have very high expectations to myself. In my opinion it’s a good quality but it can also be a bad one.
Describe your fashion sense & style.
I want my clothes to be feminine and of good quality. At the same time I want them to be comfortable and fit my personality. I love to dress in all kinds of colors and my favorite ones are white and peach.
What's inside your bag right now?
In my bag I have my purse, pocketbook, keys, my favorite lip-gloss and a coffee card.
Any beauty secrets that you would like to share the readers of Missosology?
I would like to tell you about the Blue Lagoon Iceland geothermal spa which is one of the most beautiful place I’ve ever been to. The geothermal seawater in the Blue Lagoon is known for its healing power and beneficial effect on the skin. From the unique natural ingredients, silica, minerals and algae they have made a skin care which is among my favorites. If you will ever come to Iceland the Blue Lagoon is a place you must visit and experience yourself.
What is your personal quote or motto that you live by?
The most beautiful flower on earth is the smile :)
Tell us about your preparations for the Miss Universe contest.
In my preparation for the Miss Universe competition I prepare myself both physically and mentally. My every day routine contains training and healthy lifestyle but that is something I am used to do every day. I have been practicing my walk and stage performance and I always stay positive.
If Hollywood made a movie about your life, whom would you like to see play the lead role as you?
If Hollywood would make a movie about my life I would have wanted Greys Kelly to play the lead role as me.
One of your co-candidates decides to visit your country, where would you take her?
There are so many beautiful places in Iceland that I would like to take her to. We would definitely visit the Blue Lagoon spa, go to see the beautiful waterfall Gullfoss and the Great Geysir which is the oldest known geyser. I would also take her out for a dinner in many of the great restaurants we have in Iceland. Here we have one of the best fish and lamb meat in the world. To make her trip more unforgettable I would take her to a sightseeing flight by a small plane so she could experience the magnificent landscape of Iceland and see Vatnajökull, the biggest glacier in Europe from above. Let me not forget to mention that I would wish we could be so lucky to see the Northern lights.
If you were a type of food, what type of food would you be?
I would be a French chocolate cake with strawberries and an ice cream on top of it.
If you were written about in the newspaper, on the front page, what would the headline say?
The headline would be "Dream Coming True!"
Lastly, what's your special message to the worldwide visitors of Missosology, most specially to your fans & supporters?
I want to thank you Missosology for giving me the opportunity to speak from my heart and giving people a change to get to know me a little bit. It is an honor for me to represent my beautiful country Iceland in such a big competition as the Miss Universe pageant is. I am very proud and excited for my trip to Bahamas in August. See you there!
