Topping the list in the first ever Bb. Pilipinas 2012 Hot Picks is Patricia Lae Ejercitado. She is so far the best delegate worthy to compete at Miss Universe. Her skin tone would definitely hit the right note at the pageant. (Hint: Porcelain white Asians are definitely a no no). What she needs to work on is her attitude and personality. She seems to be reserved more like a Gloria Diaz in the 60s. What she needs is to become more bubbly and more engaged in interviews. She might need to polish her English. Strangely she claims she practiced for two years for the pageant yet haven't read something from Raj's or Supsup's books on personality.

Mary Jean Lastimosa is one heck of a sexy lady with experience at her back. She might go to Miss Universe for she is largely familiar with the process of transformation of Shamcey. But she lacks the elan of Venus or the smoothness of Shamcey. A beauty like MJ is for Miss International and there is no doubt she can at least be a semifinalist in there. She can follow or surpass the footsteps of Diane Necio who, like her, was a former runner-up in the Bb. Pilipinas before garnering a crown.

A beauty like Karen Gallman is best suited for obscure pageants. She will definitely do well in that arena.
