1. Miss España Andrea Huisgen is bound to carry the hopes and aspirations of Spain - a nation that is definitely hungry for its second Miss Universe crown. Although it has already one in its kitty, Spain has a rather odd relationship with the pageant for having a good performance in 1999-2001 but only to falter later (save for 2008 when Claudia Moro became one of the Top 10 finalists). What makes Andrea the top choice? Well, her elegance! The face and the body just shows off that unmistakable opulence.

2. Miss Venezuela Irene Esser is taking her trainings seriously. After the back to back win in 2009, Venezuela seems to be losing its luster but Irene will be there to prove even the harshest critics wrong.

3. Guatemala's surprise in 2010 and big failure in 2011 will be the country's stepping stone to know what is the reality at Miss Universe. Thank goodness the beautiful Laura Godoy will make Guatemala's 2012 will not be a complete failure.

4. Well, what we can say with Miss South Africa Melinda Bam? She's beautiful, sexy and elegant. That is why we say its a huge rebound for South Africa this 2012.

5. Miss Puerto Rico Bodine Koehler is the epitome of fierce catwalk. She will rule any catwalk even that Miss Universe stage and will make any competitor look rather pathetic. It is of course a big help that Bodine also possesses a great body and a face to die for.

6. If Debora Henry was ignored last year, then Miss Universe shouldn't do that to Kimberley Leggett. This beauty has got what it takes to turn heads but she must be choosy with her wardrobe for the competition so as not to waste any attention that she will eventually get.

7. From Chloe Mortaud to Malika Menard to Laury Thilleman, France is pretty serious in its Miss Universe quest. There is no doubt that such a red-head beauty like Delphine Wespiser will remind us of Alyssa Campanella but on her own merits Delphine is a goddess and the Miss France's beauty pageant machinery will surely back her up.

8. Miss Gabon Marie Noëlle Ada's inclusion at Top 15 or 16 maybe, is a good welcoming gesture to her country's debut at Miss Universe. Marie Noëlle however is the owner of a face that is in par with the reigning Miss Universe. She will surely win hearts that the world's most famous beauty pageant.

9. Miss Mexico Karina González' beauty is there to ensure that Mexico will not be ignored in 2012.

10. Ah Colombia. When will be your second Miss Universe crown? This year perhaps? After miscalculating Colombia last year, Daniella Álvarez may surpirse us yet again this 2012.
