The Miss Universe 2012 Hot Picks Week 2 is actually an exciting result of a week long poll as voted by the missosology forum members. There is no doubt that these missosologists have all sharp eyes for beauty for they voted Bodine Koehler Peña of Puerto Rico as the leader of the Hot Picks this week. Well, it is said that Bodine was approached by the Dutch and Dominican national contests to participated in their national finals but Bodine opted to compete in the country is loved - Puerto Rico. Bodine is of Dutch and Dominican ancestry but she claims to be a Puerto Rican by heart. A famous model in Puerto Rico, Bodine is set to claim the Enchanted Island's next Miss Universe crown!

Second in the list is Irene Esser of Venezuela. Irene has a famous and successful organization behind her back and she is really serious in following the path of previous Miss Venezuelas who won the Miss Universe title. Last week's front-runner Andrea Huisgen of Spain slipped into the 3rd place but being in the Top 5 in two consecutive weeks is a good sign for her. Andrea is a rough diamond waiting to be polished and if her trainers got it right, Andrea may be Spain's second Miss Universe. Melinda Bam of South Africa and Karina Gonzalez of Mexico completes the Top 5. Both countries failed to make it to the semis last year but both are capable of delivering Miss Universe quality delegates. This year, expect both Mexico and South Africa to get a good rebound.
