Miss Dominican Republic Nileny Dippton, Miss Canada Tanya Munizaga, Miss Ghana, Afua
Akyeampong, Miss El Salvador, Silvia Gabriela Mejia & Miss India, Jyoti Brahmin
Miss Albania, Vilma Masha- "A pageant is nothing without Miss Venezuela," Miss Puerto Shanira Blanco quips. But when Vilma came along, the pageant seemed complete. A Jacqueline Aguilera (Miss World 1995 from Venezuela) deadringer, she appears unafraid to look always sexy for onlookers. The only missing thing is the unmistakable "Venezolana oomph"! Score: Rating: 87
Miss Argentina, Daniela Puig- There are instances when having the job of writing commentaries on beauty contestants pays off. This is one of those, since rarely has our body temperature risen when we first saw Daniela during the Long Gown Competition. We have already pardoned her 10 counts of absences. Rating: 84
Miss Belgium, Ruchika Sharma- A hint of exoticness is evident on this naive-looking brunette. We are kind of distracted with the way she smiles. Rating: 77
Miss Bolivia, Muriel Cruz- Oxana Federova, is that you!? Last Year, Bolivia chose Claudia Azaeda to compete at Miss Earth. She became our top choice for the crown while majority of the press singled her out for the Miss Photogenic Award, but she was surprisingly left out in the finals. Bolivia is known around the world for sending breathtaking beauties and Muriel is no exception yet again. What we like best about her is that she manages to look fresh and gorgeous despite their rigorous schedule. FYI, she was a semifinalist at Miss International last year.
Rating: 91
Miss Bosnia & Herzegovina, Ana Suton- Ana appeared as an all-out woman during the Long Gown competition. Being clad in a stylish gown and fixing her hair quite well earned her a fabulous transformation and our admiration. At 5"10, she's one of the tallest girls in the bunch.
Rating: 84
Miss Brazil, Priscilla Meirelles- "You will be the next Miss Earth!," we overheard a male model telling Priscilla. The Miss Earth record of Brazil speaks for it- they've placed second, two times out of the three editions of the pageant. Now Brazil wants to win this time! Priscilla's bubbly personality is as much a breath of fresh air as are her looks. She appeared so close to perfection in her bodacious red-orange gown. A crown truly awaits her!
Rating: 98
Miss Bulgaria, Kristiana Dimitrova- Kristiana should exert an effort to make her presence felt. We can't blame her because there's an overwhelming presence of her "seatmate," Miss Brazil. Rating: 74
Miss Canada, Tanya Munizaga- Many claims that she's the friendliest among the girls and that she could possibly win the Miss Congeniality Award. During our interviews with Tanya, her ready smile and outgoing personality validate those assumptions.
Rating: 86
Miss Chile, Erika Niklitschek- Her face is electrifying, her lips, her curves; it all seems to be in the right place. All she has to do is remain at par with the equally stunning contenders for the crown. She has a strong chance to land in the semifinals. Rating: 89
Miss China, Nicole Liu- Nicole resembles the current most popular teen star in the Philippines, Heart Evangelista. As of now, we don't see her advancing in the semifinals though. Rating: 79
Miss Colombia, Maria Fernanda Navia- Maria Fernanda is not consistent with they way she presents herself. Prior to the Long Gown Competition when she appeared as a timeless beauty, Fernanda was depreciating because of her poor make-up that made her look older than her tender age of 25. It just so happens that a contestant takes a gorgeous shot in one light and then looks horrible in another. It happens all the time. Rating: 86
Miss Costa Rica, Karlota Calderon Brenes- Her beauty is lackluster, may not offend, but may not get noticed either. We don't see her following the footsteps of her predecessor, Marianela Zeledon.
Rating: 78
Miss Denmark, Thea Froejkaer- Nice tan- that's all about her. But who knows?.... she might surprise us by making it as one of the semifinalists just like what happened last year when a number of not so popular Scandinavian beauties reached the Top 10.
Rating: 79
Miss Dominican Republic, Nileny Dippton- What we love about her is her sexy and sleek figure and ever-ready smile. Despite her sexy body, the facial beauty we're looking for is not there... Rating: 74
Miss Ecuador, Maria Luisa Barrios- She seemed well-trained and looks comfortable on the runway while carrying her lacy gown. We're doubting how Luisa fares in terms of beauty department. Though we're not closing our doors on her for a possible slot in the semis. Rating: 81
Miss Egypt, Arwa Gouda- Arwa, a beauty with a charismatic aura, is one of the early favorites in the pageant. She can stand beside any of the stunners around and still appear exquisite on her own. She has an insatiable sex appeal that is enhanced by refreshing personality and spunk. Her fashion sense makes an impact. Rating: 89
Miss El Salvador, Silvia Gabriela Mejia- If she was just 2 inches taller, Silvia will be on the right track. At 5"5, what this angelic beauty should do is to feel confident and give it a shot. The potential is there. Rating: 85
