Miss Brazil, Priscilla Meirelles
Contrary to reports that she's just your same old pageant patty diva, we are confident to say that Priscilla has what it takes to win it all! Missosology's top choice for the crown is a total package. She is smart, confident, pleasant, and to lead the appraisal, very beautiful!
If this aspiring surgeon maintains her unvarying sparkle, the Miss Earth crown shall be hers. Her allure is unmatchable whenever she carries her gown. FYI, the long gown competition will determine the 4 ladies that will battle it out for the crown.
After Priscilla performs in her long gown, she'll be unimpeachable. Should we be bothered? Uhmmmm.... No, not at all!
MISS EARTH - AIR
Miss Paraguay, Yanina Gonzalez
When Yanina goes head to head with the rest of the candidates, there's just something that seperates her from the rest. That special something is CLASS. Yanina's stage presence and striking beauty easily won us over. Her goal of winning the Miss Earth crown will depend on how she'll answer the final question. After all, who can resist the lure & power of a woman when she is already well-trained in her profession as a broadcaster?
This Miss Universe runner-up also prepared hard for the pageant in Manila. Aside from getting a nice tan, she underwent some embellishments in her body. Whether she'll be crowned or not, we'll always be proud of Yanina (our top favorite).
MISS EARTH - WATER
Miss Tahiti, Kahaia Lesage
As we witnessed the 5"8 tall Tahitian throughout the span preceding the finale, we had no doubt she had all the qualities that the Miss Earth pageant is looking for. Apart from her potentials, this Azra Akin deadringer has an intellectual content. She majors in Sociology and Economics and one of her plans is to promote the tourism industry of her country.
Kahaia is someone who can handle herself well but we're kind of afraid if the love-it-or-hate-it gown she used in the preliminaries would kill her chances. Play it safe Kahaia.
MISS EARTH - FIRE
Miss Trinidad & Tobago, Leah Mari Guevara
It has always been easy for Leah to accomplish her goals. At 24, she has achieved a lot for herself. This career woman boasts great physique, exotic charm and enviable skin color. She's also a very engaging interviewee. As a professional model, she projects herself with a certain panache and subtlety. Keep an eye on her during the final night!
FINALISTS
TOP 5 : Miss Philippines, Tamera Marie Szijarto
The hometown girl is most likely to make it all the way to the top. Her mix of Filipino-Hungarian looks is A-class. It's already a rarity nowadays to find a Filipina beauty queen who is confident, charismatic, pretty and smart, all at the same time. But when Tamera entered the picture, the Philippines found a complete package. Don't say foul if the hometown decision favors her because Tamera also deserves to win. Is there a rule that says the host nation should not make it? Anyway, it's everybody's ball game.
TOP 6 : Miss Poland, Karolina Gorazda
Karolina echoes a lot of her predecessor's qualities (Marta Matyjasik, last year's Miss Earth - Fire). Karolina and Marta are both towering in height, brunette and possess killer bodies. Karolina, on the other hand, has a sweeter face and smile. The fabulous number (a replica of Miss Universe '04, Jennifer Hawkins' gown) she wore during the Long Gown Competition might also help her penetrate the TOP 4.
TOP 7 : Miss Honduras, Gabriela Zavala
The mysterious and intriguing aura of Gabriela makes her standout in the competition. She obviously got helpful tips from the reigning Miss Earth who is also from Honduras. Earlier in the competition, she won the Best in National Costume Award. We also think that her daring black gown is a winner! Never underestimate a lady who knows how to play her cards well!
TOP 8 : Miss Peru, Liesel Holler
She had moments throughout the pre-pageant events when she appeared as an all-out winner. She makes a real kind of connection to almost everybody. What's so likeable about Miss Holler is her communication skills. Her posture and waistline are the best we've seen so far and those would be her plus factors in the swimsuit competition!
