• What three words best describe you & why?
I am a student of life because that's what I've been doing ever since. I'm also a good singer & can I say -Miss Earth, because I think I'll win!

• What was your childhood dream?
As a child & until now, I always wanted to be a singer.

• How were you selected as Miss Russia Earth? Describe the judging process.
It was a very professional contest, where judging is based on 60% physical beauty and 40% percent interview. It was very similar to the judging system of the Miss Earth contest. During the pageant, contestants performed in evening gowns, swimsuits, talents and traditional costumes. We were also asked questions about the protection of environment. I showed my qualities and won!

• What do you think are your qualities that helped you gain the Miss Russia Earth title?
I think my very important quality is how I looked like on the stage, also my photogenic quality and of course my talent. I really love to sing, and everybody enjoyed listening to my voice. Actually, you will see me perform during the Miss Earth Talent competition. And I am sure all these qualities will make me Miss Earth-2005!

• What is your environmental platform?
I think it is very important to recycle garbage. We have to do something with waste products. Also very important is to make everybody learn how to care for the environment. If everyone will care, the earth will be the cleanest planet.
 

• What kind of power would you wish to have & why?
I wish to have the power of allure and beauty of Miss Earth. Because of this kind of power, there will be great opportunities for me and it would open doors that will help me realize all my goals in life.

• What is your opinion on activists' point of view that exposure of too much skin in the swimsuit competition disrespects women?
I don't consider showing your body as something bad for women. But I also understand Muslim countries that do not accept this. Since it is part of their religion & culture, we have to respect it. But for me & my country- Russia, we never had problems about swimsuit competitions. I can also speak for many other European and Asian countries whose people become really proud of their winners in bikini contests. Everybody was proud of Miss Bikini Europe Nancy Radloff of Germany. Diana Starkova, who won as Miss Bikini Universe, became an international supermodel. She is now modeling for Chopard, Louis Vuitton and Versace. Russia is really in love with Eugenia Lapova, who won the Miss Bikini title a few years ago, and is now working as a top model in France. All these ladies were crowned in swimsuits and now they have millions of proud fans!

• What is your most prized material possession?
I think it was my victory as Miss Russia Earth! I got unforgettable trip to the Philippines to join Miss Earth-2005. I also got everything I needed for the pageant like the most expensive evening gown in my life from Valentino and many others.

• If you were the President of your country and right before you is a bill passed by Congress allowing Human Cloning as a legal procedure in the country, would you sign the bill or refuse the whole thing?
I think I'll refuse it because everybody is unique and was born because of one God. It is anti-Human to clone somebody.

• What are your passions in life? hobbies?
I am a SINGER! So singing is the biggest and most important passion of my life!

• Can you tell something that is so interesting about you?
I have some unique interests. I love turtles very much and I am collecting different kinds of them. On October 5, I will have my 19th birthday and I dream to get some new turtles. Also, I really love McDonald's.... even if it is strange for a beauty contestant!

• How did you prepare yourself for the Miss Earth beauty pageant?
Well, I have an incredible, beautiful red dress from Valentino. I also have a stylish traditional Russian dress that will serve as my national costume. I also prepared a special song for the talent competition. Aside from that, I was also trained by famous supermodel Diana Starkova. But the most important of all is the fact that I love Mother Earth! And I really want to say thank you very much to the Miss Russia Earth committee, who took care of everything from my dresses, costumes to the air tickets. In addition, I want to thank Star Model agency and especially to former Miss Moscow Time and Miss Bikini Universe Diana Starkova for sharing to me a lot of her experiences and advises about beauty contests. • Describe your country to the rest of the world.
Russia is the biggest country in the world! I am from the very cold part of my country –Siberia, and we experience 30 degree during winter. Russians have special mentality, special character & culture. Russia is also known as the red caviar, with children of Asia and Europe, it is the spirit of Earth!

• Give us an idea of your "ideal man."
My ideal man is someone who knows how to respect, care and love a woman.

• Supposed there is a Genie who happens to be mad at you for a wrong deed committed and his punishment is to turn you into an animal for a year. You can't plead to alter his decision but you get to decide what type of animal, you would become, what will be your decision and why?
I will choose to be a nightingale, because this bird has an incredible voice. If I were to be a nightingale, I can sing as many hours as I want! I'd like that!

• Do you have a motto or personal quote that you live by?
Live every day as if it was your last because one day you will be right.

• What is the most fulfilling thing you've done for mother earth?
During my childhood, I really enjoy visiting my grandparents in southern Russia and we used to plant trees. It was an incredible feeling to see these trees when they grow up after many years.

• Tell us about your fashion sense and style.
I really enjoy wearing good clothes. The shoes are like the "face" of a person so I only buy the ones with good quality. I like clothes from Mango & Terranova.

• Why do you want do be crowned Miss Earth and how would you define the title in your own terms?
I want to be crowned Miss Earth because I feel that the crown is already mine, and I am sure that with my qualities, I can carry the title of Miss Earth! How do I define Miss Earth? I think you should listen to the song of Miss Earth and you will totally understand the essence of its title. Just "Loving, Caring, Working, Sharing, Teaching, Singing, Mothering."

• What should pageant experts, your fellowmen, fans and beauty watchers expect from Miss Russia at Miss Earth 2005?
VICTORY!

• Finally, leave a message to your fans, supporters and the readers of Missosology.
I want to say that Miss Earth pageant will definitely become an unforgettable experience for me and I will do my best to take the crown! Also during coronation night, my mind will be with all people who are supporting me. I feel love from you and I will give it to you back as much as I can!
