• How would you define "beauty?"
I won't define beauty solely on external aspect. For me, beauty is an assemblage of qualities including elegance as well as having the fullest grasp of who you are as a person and how you utilize your God-given talents.

• What were your reasons for joining the Miss España pageant?
I took part in the Miss España beauty pageant because I wanted to live through a different experience. My mother wanted me so much to become Miss Spain.

• How were you elected as Miss España? Describe the judging process.
Firstly, I took part in some castings done in Malaga. I was selected as Miss Malaga and that has paved way to my participation in the Miss Spain contest.

• What do you think are your qualities that helped you earn the judges' approval & the crown?
Aside from my physical looks, it helped a lot that I was at my best form during the contest.

• Tell us about your preparations for the Miss Universe contest.
I really did not have much time to prepare for the contest because I have a lot of work and social obligations related to my winning Miss Spain. But I am learning English and if I have free time, I spend it with my family. I am such a homebody!

• Can you tell something that is so interesting or unique about you?
I am a very humble and sincere person. I am also a bookworm and I tend to imagine a lot after reading amusing books.

• Any beauty queen/s that you really admire? Why?
I immensely admire Amparo Muñoz and Eva Gonzales because the two are simple yet they exude vast elegance. Both of them comes across as very sincere and refined with the way they act or speak.

• Describe your fashion sense and style.
In an ordinary day, I dress like any other girl of my age. I like to live in comfort and simplicity. On special occasions, however, I love fixing myself up and wear dresses which are elegant and easy to have on. 

• How will you describe your country to your co-candidates at Miss Universe? 
Spain is a country full of contrasts. It is a country with varied climates, numerous beautiful landscapes, varied cuisine from north to south and moreso it is a very happy country!

• What is your opinion on activists' point of view that exposure of too much skin in the swimsuit competition disrespects women?
Everyone is free to think what they want. I respect the opinion of everyone.

• Supposed there is a Genie who happens to be mad at you for a wrong deed committed and his punishment is to turn you into an animal for a year. You can't plead to alter his decision but you get to decide what type of animal you would become, what creature would you choose and why?
I would prefer to be a rabbit because it is a very tender animal. I also love to be cuddled if I were a rabbit.

• If it were your last day on earth, what would you eat & why?
I would like to eat my favorite food which is that of a viand cooked meat with yellow peas.

• Do you have a motto or personal quote that you live by?
It is a question among my family and friends because I find myself without any major identification from others. Although some people find me mysterious.

• Aside from winning your title, what's the best thing that has ever happened to you?
Apart from having the Miss España title, I feel so blessed to have a beautiful and caring family.

• Do you think winning a beauty pageant is really important? Tell us about your responsibilities as Miss España titleholder.
My winning Miss Spain is very important because it has opened many doors of opportunity for me and continually does so. I've had a lot of opportunity to travel and meet a lot of great people. My primary responsibility as Miss Spain is to represent my country the best way possible. 

• Why do you want do be crowned Miss Universe and how would you define the title in your own terms?
As the official representative of Spain to Miss Universe, it is but proper for me to aspire for the title of Miss Universe. It is my role to represent my country and thus winning Miss Universe is part of the possibility when you win the title of Miss Spain. If I'll be crowned Miss Universe, it would denote that I have done an excellent job and that I was able to bring pride to my country. 

• What should pageant experts, your fellowmen, fans and beauty watchers expect from Miss Spain at Miss Universe 2006 pageant?
They should expect a very unique and a well-rounded competitor. I am always ready to comply to all the expectations that each one of you has placed in me.
