Jictzad
Viña,
Miss
Venezuela
Universe
2006
Despite of not being ballyhooed as a favorite & reaching the finals without any special award, Jictzad outshined the rest of the equally stunning contestants during the live televised Miss Venezuela pageant. In gown & swimsuit segments, she has managed to floor the judges with her
6'1" height, imposing physique and calculated moves. After 4 hours of nerve-wracking battle for the crown,
alongside
an
unexpected disruption putting President Hugo Chávez on view while delivering a speech minutes before the announcement of winners (that outraged Venezuelan viewers who protested by banging on pots from their windows, blowing whistles and even firing guns into the air), the two dark-skinned beauties won the top 2 highly coveted crowns- the first time ever in the history of Miss Venezuela pageant. Jicztad Vina was crowned the new Miss Venezuela. Elected as Miss World Venezuela was Susan Carrizo of Costa Oriental who eventually lost at the Miss World 2005 pageant in China while Daniela Di Giacomo of Barinas was crowned Miss Venezuela International. The 1st runner-up was Alexandra Braun who was sent to Manila to compete in the Miss Earth 2005 pageant. She gave her country its very first Miss Earth crown, making Venezuela the second country to have won all 4 major global beauty titles.
The marvelous 'mulatta' of Native American descent will represent mighty Venezuela at the Miss Universe 2006 pageant. She is the second Miss Venezuela of color after Carolina Indriago (Miss Venezuela 1998). Venezuelans
didn't express so much hostility towards her victory compared to
Carolina's time when they were not prepared to have a
"black
beauty" to represent them at Miss Universe.
 DID YOU
KNOW.... that between 1983 and 2003, Miss Venezuela placed into the Miss Universe semifinals each consecutive year, and between 1991 and 2003 into the final six. This unmatched streak was ended in 2004 when Ana Karina Añez was eliminated from the finals held in Quito, Ecuador. Venezuela has won four Miss Universe, five Miss World, four Miss International & a Miss Earth crown. The annual Miss Venezuela pageant is the year's most watched program and a source of national pride. Venezuelans proudly point out that their country, the
world's fifth-largest oil exporter, is known abroad for three things: oil, baseball stars and beauty queens.

Jicztad was flown to Bolivia few months after being crowned Miss Venezuela 2005 to compete in Reina Sudamericana pageant. It served as part of her preparations & added exposure for the Miss Universe event. She was adjudged as 1st runner-up.

Many pundits which include no less than Venezuelan President Hugo Chávez argues that her
"mannish" facial beauty
doesn't have viable appeal. Just recently,
we've witnessed Osmel's touch in
Jictzad's packaging. An insider tipped us that Osmel is putting a lot of effort into her appearance by bringing out her softer feminine side. Expect the unexpected as Jictzad is being embellished to become the 5th Miss Universe of Venezuela.

Jictzad's body- well trimmed, shapely & festooned with rock-hard abs truly gives her the impression of being a professional volleyball player (especially if oiled).

Since
she's
the
Venezuelan rep to Miss Universe, she has already made quite a name for herself. A firm sense of self and a body that would command respect are her major weapons to survive in yet another battle called Miss Universe. Move over girls, Jictzad has arrived.
Good
luck
to
Jictzad
as
she
readies
for
her
Miss
Universe
quest.
