Nadine Chandrawinata is a 21-year-old model from Jakarta. On July 29th 2005, she beat thirty-eight contestants from 33 Indonesian provinces to capture the Miss Indonesia Universe 2005 title, earning her the right to represent her country in the Miss Universe 2006 pageant. 

Her unique Eurasian looks can be attributed to the blend of divergent genes of her parents. Nadine was born with her twin sister on May 8, 1984 to an Indonesian father and German mother in Hannover, West Germany. Raised in Indonesia, she considers herself an authentic Indonesian and considers the fact that Germany only served as her land of birth. Nadine is definitely a treasure for her country with the kind of "good looks fit for Miss Universe standards" that she's born with.    

Nadine has starred in several soap operas & TV commercials. She also became familiar as a runway model. After getting minor roles, she got her biggest break after being chosen for a Ponds ad and a movie that will be released soon.
