:: Carlene Aguilar, the 1ST ever Miss Philippines for Miss Earth, donned a Frederick Peralta fully beaded, flora-and-fauna inspired gown with a two-sided cape that represents colors of the earth: green and orange. Her wonderfully crafted gown became the Best in Long Gown of Miss Earth 2001.

:: The House of Halston prepared the pricey asymmetrical gown of Miriam Quiambao. In Miriam's Miami hotel suite, the sequins were painstakingly attached in the gown just in time for her flight to Venezuela for a 2-week training.
