Tere is so classy and put together. She has a very generic Filipina beauty. Amazing how she's the only one who constantly sparkles at any event (she looks 1000x more beautiful in person than in still pictures). Her feats as a student are getting the most recognition. She's such a brilliant woman that she always has a lot on her mind. With her porcelain skin, enthralling eyes and Oxana Federova-ish smile, she is the personification of a "Pearl of the Orient."
Qualms - Tradition speaks for itself: BPCI does have a soft spot for a contender like Tere so I have a strong feeling she'll get the Bb. Pilipinas Universe crown this Saturday. TERE's RATINGS
- I've mixed feelings with her chances at Miss Universe (being yet another UP/brainy beauty). BPCI's failure to sidetrack will most likely lead to another failure. The level of competition at Miss Universe is totally different and I just hope that Tere becomes FIERCE by the time she deplanes at Mexico. Don't get me wrong, I still believe that she would have no problem taking out an entire judging panel. She only needs to improve her figure (kindda frail, needs more curves) & catwalk skills (more polishing please!).

She is someone different. Someone with extreme beauty and appeal, with a touch of Rock (rock music is her passion!). Maggie, in my opinion, is the only one who knows how to own the scene and work it like no other diva in local pageantry. Her smile, her moves, her bearing, her projections are just PERFECT for Miss Universe!! Maggie has a clear sense of what she wants- and that's the Bb. Pilipinas Universe crown. Oh Yes! She really wants the Bb. Pilipinas Universe crown - just like her "ate" Ruffa who will sit as one of the judges during the coronation night. I interviewed Maggie and asked about her outlook on the so-called "glitch" regarding her suitability for Miss Universe. She asserted that she already spoke with some of the BPCI execs and it was guaranteed to her that she could possibly snatch the Bb. Pilipinas Universe crown since she'll be turning 18 this month. I'd love to see her compete in Miss Universe but I also believe that this fresh-faced and charming lass can make waves in Miss World the way Kate, Mafae, Karla & Carlene did in the past. According to still reigning Bb. Pilipinas World Anna Maris Igpit, Julia Morley is fond of YOUNG, tall & Mestiza beauties--- Maggie absolutely fits the bill (plus she's half-British, what about that!?) She is also someone that we can picture earning the admiration & support of a global audience. We all know how the public voting works so a spot in the semis will be reserved to her. I'm sure she would be able to carve out a niche for herself in all three major pageants!
Qualm - Maggie seems to have lost the "twinkle in her eyes" - something that was very evident in her during her trainings for Bb.
Pilipinas.

Nicole is a carbon copy of Miss International 2005 Precious Lara Quigaman and that's why I'm choosing her for the Bb. Pilipinas International title. Just like Precious, she has a petite stature, boasts a flawless skin, a curvaceous body, and above of all- her appeal is undeniable. This Filipino-German stunner was born in Australia. She was crowned by Anna Maris Igpit as Miss Mandaue 2006 and then placed as 1st runner-up at Miss Teen Philippines also last year. Nicole is riding on a high right now. She has amassed a major contingent of drooling pageant fans over the past days when her handlers perfected her teeth (which was her only flaw). I can attest to everyone that Nicole possesses great intellect and isn't afraid to speak her mind as revealed in our interviews. Even though she is only 18 years old, intelligence proves to be the greatest facet of her personality. Everyone should watch out for this frontrunner tonight!

Bb. Pilipinas 2007 Edition
Vying for one of the crowns of Bb. Pilipinas 2007 is Liezl Verses (Miss Baguio 2005) who underwent pre-pageant training under distinguished beauty queen maker Rodgil Flores. Whew! I'm telling you, Liezl has a body to die for! As we all know, Juliana Palermo- a dusky movie star with all the potentials of becoming a Bb. Pilipinas titlist (& who's always been on everybody's Binibini wish-list), was rejected by BPCI despite her yearly attempt to join the pageant. Well, cry no more, sisterz! Liezl is a Juliana Palermo incarnate and soooOO much more!
One of my resolutions for the year 2007 is to quit pageantry! But when I learnt that Patricia Francisco & Maggie Wilson are Binibini-bound, the pageant buff within me got unleashed. Patricia is very GORGEOUS in person. Screw the height-factor, she has perfect facial features that can easily overshadow a million more faces. I was actually banking for her to win the Bb. Pilipinas World crown in 2004 but she eventually failed to make it due to a skewed packaging in the finals. She reminds me a lot of my all-time favorite Filipina beauty queen- Nina Ricci Caldo Alagao Flores.
One of my eye candies is Maggie Wilson and I feel that she can move heaven & hell to make it through both local & int'l pageantry. I witnessed how fueled Maggie is to do best in the field when I watched her train for Bb. Pilipinas. She reminds me a lot of Thalia (allure-beauty-wise) & Ruffa Gutierrez (beauty-intelligence-class-wise), which in a way I find compellingly sexy! As of now, Maggie is my Miss Universe!!!
